Letter Shapes

Let’s make the sun smile! Drag the lowercase letter to match the uppercase letter.

Letter Sounds

Type 1 – Can you make a rainbow? Look at the letter and drag the correct sounding raindrop to match it.
Type 2 – Listen to the sound and drag the raindrop with the correct letter to match it.
Type 2 – Listen to the sound and drag the raindrop with the correct letters to match it.
Type 4 – Look at the picture and drag the correct letters into the space to finish the word.

Blending

Type 1 – Let’s make the sun smile! Listen and find the cloud with the matching word to drag into place.
Type 2 – Look at the picture and drag the cloud with correct word to match it.
Type 3 – Read the word and find the correct picture on the cloud to match it.

Segmenting

Type 1 – Listen and arrange the leaves in the correct order to make the word.

Weather Monsters

In each phonics game a weather monster appears. These motivational characters react with a happy face if you choose the correct answer or a sad face if you choose the wrong answer. Use the scenery and changing weathe‍‍‍r as opportunity to make cross-curricular connections as well as talk about emotions.

Learning Journey

  • The journey is made up of two parts, at the end of each part children receive a certificate of completion.

  • The Learning Journey is designed to be used after children have learnt their letter sounds. Games consolidate and test letter sound knowledge.

For example, some children maybe very good at letter sounds, but need more time to really embed knowledge on letter shapes. This zone allows them to focus on just what they need before continuing on the Learning Journey.There are 3 levels of difficulty for each skill (except Letter Shapes) to test ‍‍‍children of all abilities:
